📍 Blythe Street

Right in the heart of Sandy Row on Blythe Street, St Aidan’s is a neighbourhood church where faith and community meet.

📍 Donegall Road

Recently refurbished, St Simon’s on the Donegall Road is a renewed space for worship, prayer, and growing community.

📍 Donegall Pass

The largest of our three churches, standing on Donegall Pass with our church hall just behind.

St Mary Magdalene is a beautiful and spacious place for worship, community, and gathering.

Building Hope Together

In December 2021, three Church of Ireland parishes in inner South Belfast began exploring a closer partnership, supported by the Diocese of Connor and guided by a shared vision for the future.

What started as occasional joint services and events has gradually grown into deeper collaboration, stronger relationships, and a renewed sense of purpose across our churches.

Over the following years our churches have developed in shared worship, prayer gatherings, Bible teaching, outreach events, and work with local schools and the wider community.

New initiatives and mission partnerships have helped place faith, hospitality, and community engagement at the heart of the growing partnership.

As this relationship has strengthened our churches have adopted a new shared identity: Blackstaff Union.

Inspired by the connections between the congregations and the local area they serve, the Blackstaff Union reflects a commitment to working together to share faith, serve the community, and build a hopeful future for inner South Belfast.

Weekly Rhythms

Sunday Worship

We gather every Sunday at 11 am to worship across our three locations.

Rotating each week helps us stay connected to every part of the community we serve, while giving people the chance to gather together as one church family.

Psalm 133

“How good and pleasant it is
when God’s people live together in unity!”
